what she's thinking

Hala's black turtleneck, effectively borrowing Steve Jobs' look: "This doesn't need ironing."

Hala with Michael and Mark, delivering the football headline on the Colts' winning streak: "I have no idea what I'm talking about. More importantly, I don't care."

Hala having worked since Thursday and my only making commentary today: "I don't show, she's all whiny. I show up, she takes it for granted. Fan, my..."

Hehe.

A friend of mine noted that for the Chief International Correspondent who's so connected to Middle Eastern affairs, Christiane Amanpour was nowhere to be found during Eye on the MidEast. Huh. Maybe she's finally on vacation.

And, Hala's going to the Hajj again! Who gets the better deal: CNN, who has a pretty face to guarantee viewers, or Hala, who gets to get out of the studio?

I think I'm going to have a new round of Monita envy when she starts that new monthly programme next year. Luxury something.
And what is (was?) Max Foster doing at the New York Stock Exchange?

Oh I love that Hala's going to the Hajj. I wasn't watching CNN the last time she made that trip.
