yes, i really am this shallow

I love the haircut, I do, it's just...

... isn't it a little hard to manage it? I used to have that haircut, and it can get really impossible to keep it presentable. Small gust of wind, and bye-bye, hairstyle.

And, oh-- (presenting my sick humor in the face of world news):
"Let's see... Intro, intro... When do I start to sing?
And when did they replace the prompter with a karaoke machine?"

Cheers.

That's neither particularly shallow, nor rough-edged. Frankly, if anyone allows themselves to quibble with Ms. Gorani's physical appearance, it's hard not to start with the clearly worked-on nose. I know she was born in the US and largely raised in France, but she's got signature Middle East rhinoplasty on display there. A bit odd, those: like Botox treatments, that variety nose jobs scream "had work done" even though you'd never seen the person in pre-surgery form. Anyway, none of that diminishes her excellence as a journalist, which is all we really care about, right?

I can assure you, that Ms. Gorani does not have a nose job or any artificial anything done to her face other than over the counter make up.

Unless you're Ms. Gorani herself (in which case you need to ditch the royal third party reference), or perhaps her mother, how could you possibly assure she's never had work done? Especially in this sad day and age, when cosmetic surgery is undertaken with the frivolity and lightness of having one's hair cut?!
